This workshop is for anyone who needs a gentle, encouraging push to draw, whether you’re filling your 100th sketchbook or opening one up for the first time.
What to Expect:
Providence-based artist and Sketchbook Fight Club founder Kit Miklik will lead the group through:
Playful Warm-Ups: Quick, low-pressure drawing games to quiet your inner critic
Guided Drawing Exercises: A mini drawing lesson with prompts to inspire you to bust those blank page blues and banish imposter syndrome
Optional Sharing: Share your sketches and see the stories others have drawn or let your pages remain a mystery!
What to bring:
All you need to bring is a sketchbook (or grab one from us at the event for $5). We’ll provide plenty of quality pens, pencils, and markers to share!
