Join us in the museum for a celebration of sketching in color!
In this special event, Sketchbook Fight Club is teaming up with the RISD Museum to bring spontaneous creativity into the heart of the collection during Museum at Night. Join one of two playful, low-pressure sketching sessions designed to help you explore mark-making in the heart of Liz Collins: Motherlode—an immersive, high-energy textile exhibit that invites bold, joyful creativity. Whether you're an art student, a lifelong doodler, or someone who hasn’t picked up a pencil since middle school, this event is for you!
What to Expect:
Warm-Ups: Kick things off with fast-paced, low-pressure drawing games to shake off the rust.
Collection Prompts: We’ll be sitting among the incredible exhibits in the RISD Museum as inspiration for creative drawing challenges.
Sketch Time: Settle in or explore the collections, sketch freely, and connect with others in a playful, welcoming space.
Optional Sharing: Show off your creations, get inspired by others, and fill your sketchbook with new ideas.
